I-70 Mountain Towing & Recovery
Crashes, rollovers, jackknifed semis and vehicles off the road, from Evergreen to Vail Pass and beyond, 24 hours a day, in every season.
Mountain recoveries are what we do
Steep grades, tight shoulders, snow and canyon drop-offs make mountain recoveries some of the hardest jobs in towing. Our operators have more than 250+ years of combined experience, and our fleet includes 5 rotators and 9 heavy-duty wreckers built for exactly this kind of work.
- Crash and accident recovery, light to heavy duty
- Semi-truck and commercial vehicle (CMV) towing
- Rollovers and vehicles over the guardrail or down an embankment
- Snow pulls and winch-outs
- Cargo transfer and fuel spill cleanup
- Long-distance tows back to Denver or anywhere you need
Based in Silverthorne: Dillon Towing & Recovery
Our sister company runs trucks out of Summit County, right on I-70, so help is already in the mountains when you need it.

Frequently asked questions
Do you tow on Vail Pass and the other I-70 mountain passes?
Yes. Our rotators and heavy wreckers work the whole I-70 mountain corridor, including Floyd Hill, the Eisenhower-Johnson tunnels area, Silverthorne, Frisco, Copper Mountain and Vail Pass. Call 303-876-2197 for an ETA.
Can you pull a semi or car out of the snow?
Yes. Snow pulls and winch-outs are a big part of our winter work, for cars, pickups and loaded tractor-trailers.
Can you recover a vehicle that went off the road or down an embankment?
Yes. Our rotators can lift vehicles back over guardrails and up steep slopes, which means less damage to the vehicle and the scene.
Do you have a location in the mountains?
Yes. Our sister company, Dillon Towing & Recovery, is based at 240 Brian Ave in Silverthorne. Call them at 970-468-2907 or toll free at 1-800-748-2647, or call our Denver dispatch at 303-876-2197.
